Bob Dowling Appointed Director of Government Sales
SEATTLE, Wash., – November 12, 2008 — VANTOS, Inc., the global leader in the Investigation Lifecycle Management market, today announced the expansion of its sales team with the addition of Bob Dowling, Director of Government Sales. Dowling, who will head up VANTOS' Washington, DC office, brings nearly 20 years of public sector expertise to the VANTOS team. Additionally, he is recognized by the U.S. Government as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in real-time tactical information sharing.

Dowling served a total of seventeen years as a Special Agent with four U.S. Government Agencies, including two years assigned to the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). His professional experience also includes Executive Protection and Privacy Management. Employed full-time by a world-renowned software executive and his family on September 11, 2001, Dowling returned to U.S. Government service as the National representative for two federal agencies assigned to the National Joint Terrorism Task Force, National Counter Terrorism Center. In addition, he served on the President's National Infrastructure Protection Plan (NIPP) panel representing all U.S. Government operations.

Dowling graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science from Central Washington University and holds a Master of Arts degree in Criminal Justice from Washington State University. He has received numerous awards and commendations throughout his career with the Federal government, including the NATO Medal for Operations in the Former Yugoslavia (civilian) and the Desert Shield/Desert Storm Award (civilian). Most recently, Dowling consulted under a year-long (full-time) independent contract supporting the Department of Homeland Security, Homeland Security Information Network (HSIN) Program Manager.
